It's that time again!  Retreat to the mystical, beautiful and healing Red Rocks of Sedona, AZ.

Yoga, Reiki, hiking, adventuring and guided sacred land excursions with Sedona Mystical Tours are a few of the experiences we will have. The energy of the Mother runs strong through the veins of these lands, holding space for individual and collective transformation. This is our deepest and most transformational retreat experience with an emphasis on the throat chakra - coming into alignment with embodying our highest creative potential, healing the silent child within, and allowing who we are on the inside to reflect with the way our life force expresses in our day to day actions.  Come and let us hold space for you as you move through your own expressions of transformation and growth.

Reiki Healing Circle

Come join me for some r&r at our next reiki healing circle! We will begin with a guided meditation, some gentle pranayama, and then receive reiki. Reiki is a universal energy that helps rebalance and harmonize the physical, energetic, mental, emotional, and spiritual body. Reiki can help one feel rejuvenated and more relaxed. Reiki is a safe and gentle hands on healing practice.

Come and sit with Shilah and Michelle as we prepare together for this most mysterious time of the year. The time that marks the shortest day and longest night, we sit in community and  honor the mysteries within. Tending to the patience necessary as we pay reverence to the dream time, the darkness, the stillness and the silence within. We sit in the dark spaces cultivating our faith and our hopes, laying our intentions for when the light returns. Honoring the stillness inside and around us as we sync up with the slowed and resting heartbeat of our Earth Mother. We join the animals in their dream time hibernation and fall into the natural rhythm of Earths Womb.

Enjoy with us sound, reiki, journeying, meditation, and Solstice blessing activities that hold space for us to be held in darkness with ever growing trust and love. Leave feeling grounded, connected to Earth, connected to yourself and connected to each other.

Intricacies of Asana Workshop

When starting yoga, you might feel overwhelmed as the teacher starts calling out poses, and sometimes not even in english, as you focus just trying to keep up but may not feel like you’re doing the pose as it is intended. Sometimes some of the poses that may seem “beginner” or like they should be easy are anything but! Even in the most “simple” of poses, the body is doing so many different things to bring it self into a safe shape and helpful alignment.

This workshop will focus on a really slow, detailed, and in-depth break down of sequences like Surya Namaskar A (Sun Salutation A) and Surya Namaskar B (Sun Salutation B). These “flows” incorporate poses like tadasana (mountain pose), uttanasana (standing forward fold), ardha uttanasana (half forward fold), plank and chaturanga dandasana (low plank), urdhva mukha svanasana (upward facing dog), and down dog as well as adding in virabhadrasana 1 (warrior 1) when we cover Sun Salutation B. We will break down each posture and talk about what each part of the body is doing and why. We will refine chaturanga dandasana and practice various variations and modifications to find what suits our body and our practice best as well as cover how we transition safely from pose to pose with mindfulness. We will also focus on the fine details of virabhadrasana 2 (warrior 2) so we can approach this pose with more power, strength, and grace.

After this workshop, you will leave with way more confidence to step onto your mat knowing you are in control of your movements with mindfulness and precision to maintain a safe and healthy practice.

All levels welcome! Great for beginners, those who are new to yoga, and those wanting to refine their practice.
